Ocean Regions
To help you navigate to posts you might like while not straying out of your depth I’ve divided the math posts according to how comprehensible I think they are. I consider the background needed to understand the math, how much math there is, and how much supporting explanation I’ve given it. Now, understand that I am a math expert so my evaluation of the posts might not match yours, but I do try to put myself in your shoes. Of course, it never hurts to venture out into the deeper waters…
Continental Shelf – Not too far from land. These posts tend to be short, and assume roughly the math background of an American high school graduate.
Continental Slope – Closer to the deep ocean. These posts might be longer, or rely on math usually first seen in college.
Abyss – Really getting into the trenches. In other words, this is the best part!
